Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Northwest Surgical. As a key member of our Physical Therapy Call-Center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, answering inbound phone lines, and accurately obtaining patient information.
Key Responsibilities- Support a patient-centered environment that reinforces our mission and values.
- Book, coordinate, and reschedule patient appointments based on defined protocols.
- Take patient calls and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to their queries and concerns.
- Relay necessary messages to staff and maintain confidentiality.
- Monitor call volume and hold times to ensure efficient call turnaround.
- Answer questions regarding patient appointments and assist with daily reschedule lists.
- Attend meetings as required and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work-related experience, preferably in a medical office and/or call center setting.
- Experience with multi-line phones and queue management systems preferred.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare insurances.
- Excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
