Business Development Manager (Media & Entertainment)

Job Expo Connect is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Media & Entertainment practice group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development initiatives, collaborating with clients, and developing strategic marketing plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Support key client efforts and collaborate on strategic business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and implement business development and marketing plans, including setting goals and deadlines.
  • Draft proposals, pitches, and other client communications.
  • Drive content-driven campaign strategies for new business opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling initiatives with the global business development team.
  • Provide intelligence on legal industry trends and explore opportunities.
  • Plan and oversee seminars, events, and targeted marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing and social media teams on campaign strategies.
  • Manage relevant business development budgets.
  • Enhance the practice's profile through PR and communications.
  • Travel as needed for initiatives and activities.
  • Lead additional projects as assigned.
  • Support profile-raising efforts, including writing directory and award nominations and maintaining website content.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, law, or business (required).
  • 7+ years of marketing experience (preferred).
  • Experience in a Media & Entertainment practice group (preferred).
  • Management experience in a corporate law firm (AMLAW 100 preferred).
