Position Overview:
The Event Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing event staff and ensuring seamless operations during gatherings, prioritizing exceptional service and guest satisfaction.

With a focus on precision and strong leadership abilities, this role involves coordinating with personnel, serving event attendees, setting up and dismantling events, and maintaining our quality standards to deliver unforgettable experiences for guests.

This is a part-time role, requiring availability for various events throughout the month. Compensation for this position is $10.00/hour plus gratuities.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Oversee and assist with the preparation, execution, and conclusion of event functions, ensuring all elements operate smoothly and as intended.

Supervise event staff, including servers, bartenders, and support personnel, to guarantee adherence to company standards and the delivery of outstanding service.

Direct event staff during functions, assigning responsibilities and providing guidance to ensure efficient and professional service.

Address any issues or concerns that arise during events, making prompt decisions to resolve them and uphold guest satisfaction.

Conduct pre-event briefings to communicate event specifics, expectations, and any special requests to the team.

Provide ongoing support and direction to staff throughout events, addressing any performance issues or training needs as necessary.

Engage with guests during events, ensuring their needs are met and any requests are handled promptly and professionally.

Keep management informed of event progress and challenges, providing regular updates as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Previous experience in event management or banquet services.

Prior experience in serving or bartending roles.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with proper etiquette.

Ability to adapt effectively to significant changes in work tasks.
