Position Summary:
At Sea Captain's House, a cherished establishment along the Grand Strand for over six decades, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences.

We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of Guest Services Supervisor within our bustling, award-winning oceanfront venue. This position is vital in maintaining the seamless operation and overall success of our restaurant.

The Guest Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting our team during service hours and enhancing our management capabilities through effective decision-making and strategic oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the General Manager to oversee all restaurant functions, special events, and related activities.

2. Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively.

3. Train, mentor, and implement corrective measures for all restaurant staff.

4. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct in compliance with relevant regulations.

5. Facilitate effective communication within the restaurant by leading regular team meetings.

6. Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of new team members, adhering to company and legal guidelines.

7. Assist the General Manager in managing the restaurant's financial aspects, including budgeting and inventory management.

8. Coordinate with upcoming groups to organize all on-site events and functions.

9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

‎ :

Qualifications:

- Availability for flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in high-volume restaurant management is preferred.

- 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry.

- Bartending experience is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with both Front-of-House and Back-of-House operations.

- Proficient in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.

- ServSafe Certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.

- Demonstrated reliability, commitment, and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.
