Position Overview:
The Event Operations Supervisor is a proactive and dedicated individual responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of all private events at NeueHouse. This role encompasses a variety of events, including launches, press gatherings, member functions, seminars, cocktail receptions, plated dinners, conferences, and trade shows.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the execution of all private events, ensuring seamless operations.
  2. Manage daily event operations, providing on-site supervision for the majority of scheduled events.
  3. Collaborate with the Events Coordinator and Event Producers to ensure accuracy and detail in event order sheets.
  4. Review banquet event orders to confirm proper setups are executed.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with the private events department to align on vision and exceed client expectations.
  6. Ensure all event equipment and furnishings are well-maintained and readily available.
  7. Keep function information updated, reflecting any changes or revisions.
  8. Facilitate the smooth operation of each private event, ensuring all aspects run efficiently.
  9. Lead and manage third-party staffing agencies and internal staff during events, upholding service standards.
  10. Supervise the cleanup and proper storage of event equipment post-function.
  11. Foster constructive and communicative relationships with all supporting departments.
  12. Collaborate with fellow Event Captains to ensure cohesive operations.
  13. Contribute to a positive work environment and communicate any concerns to the Private Events Team promptly.
  14. Strive to meet or exceed guest satisfaction goals for the department.
  15. Develop strong interpersonal relationships with guests to enhance their experience.
  16. Attend leadership meetings and other relevant gatherings as required.
  17. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compensation:
The anticipated hourly rate for this position ranges from $30 to $35. NeueHouse is committed to equitable compensation and benefits, considering various factors such as qualifications, relevant experience, and unique skills when extending offers.
