Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and results-focused business development professional to join our team. As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities in the aerospace, urban air mobility, and space industries.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct market research to identify potential clients within the markets we serve.
- Leverage various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, online platforms, and referrals, to generate leads and build a strong pipeline of potential clients.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and collaborators at client organizations.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis and collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the legal team to negotiate and finalize contracts.
- Stay updated on industry trends and leverage market insights to identify new business opportunities.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
- Work closely with site and corporate marketing teams to promote awareness of our capabilities.
- Leverage Customer Relationship Management tools to maintain complete and accurate information regarding your sales pipeline.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in business development or technical sales.
- BS degree or equivalent experience in an engineering or technical field.
- Deep understanding of engineering services.
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth and closing complex deals.
- Well-established active network within relevant industries.
- Willingness to travel as required.
The job is located in Englewood, CO or in close proximity with regular in-office time in Englewood, CO.
CompensationSalary: $95,000-$143,000
