Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at SMS. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with business owners, presidents, and CEOs to promote our services and secure new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing for daily sales appointments and conducting meetings with business owners to discuss our services and potential partnerships
- Directing sales efforts to secure new business agreements and expand existing relationships
- Collaborating with the sales team to share best practices and achieve sales goals
- Providing regular feedback and updates to the sales manager on sales performance and progress
Requirements:
- At least three years of business ownership experience and/or three years of face-to-face direct sales experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary; we will consider the right experience over a degree
- Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
- Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships and communicating effectively with business owners
- Ability to begin work immediately and commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week
