Job Description

MongoDB is seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Specialist to join our Global Communications team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing proactive PR programs to position MongoDB as a leader in the technology market.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in communications, with a proven track record of leading technology companies and/or high-growth SaaS, enterprise software, or cloud computing providers. You will have exceptional writing skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into meaningful and compelling business communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute PR strategies to drive awareness and visibility for MongoDB
  • Manage global proactive PR programs, including PR planning, strategy, and execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns that drive awareness through owned, earned, and social media content
  • Cultivate relationships with journalists across prioritized geographies to amplify and promote MongoDB's vision for modern application development
  • Develop long-term strategies and tactics to amplify MongoDB content and work cross-functionally across Global Corporate Marketing to identify and execute on opportunities for proactive storytelling via earned, owned, and social media

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in communications, with a focus on technology PR
  • Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into meaningful and compelling business communications
  • High judgment and standards with the ability to consistently deliver results
  • Ability to evangelize and educate internally and externally about complex technology concepts
  • Confidence in leadership who can collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams

We offer a competitive salary range of $104,000—$204,000 USD, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings.
