ARE YOU READY TO EMBARK ON A NEW CAREER PATH IN COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT?

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals eager to transition into the field of community association management. No prior experience is necessary, as we provide a comprehensive educational program designed to equip you with the essential knowledge and skills. Our training spans one year, and you will become a proficient industry professional within three years. Mentorship will be provided to ensure you receive practical guidance throughout your journey. The expertise gained in community management will be invaluable for your career advancement, whether within our organization or beyond.

The starting salary for this position is $55,000 annually, with opportunities for performance reviews and salary increases every six months.

Ideal candidates may come from diverse backgrounds such as retail, hospitality, administration, or management roles, typically possessing at least a decade of professional experience in positions requiring proactive decision-making.

In this role, you will acquire skills in customer service, administration, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, budgeting, financial management, legal issues, vendor relations, and much more. Consider this position as a solid foundation for a career in business and administration.

ABOUT OUR CULTURE:

We believe that a dynamic workplace thrives on trust and collaboration. We are looking for positive and motivated individuals who can contribute to a vibrant work environment centered on support, professional growth, enjoyment, autonomy, and strong interpersonal connections.

We don’t just hire employees; we welcome work family.

ROLE OF A COMMUNITY MANAGER:

The community manager serves as the representative of our organization, wearing many hats. Essentially, you will act as a liaison among the board of directors, homeowners, and service providers. This role demands a high level of ownership in completing tasks and projects, championing customer service, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing your assigned communities—all while maintaining a positive demeanor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

While no two days are alike, your regular responsibilities will include:
  • Adhering to our Same Day Response Policy.
  • Engaging with board members and homeowners within your community.
  • Managing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for a portfolio of associations.
  • Planning and facilitating board meetings and annual gatherings.
  • Overseeing vendor relations, including bidding and project management.
  • Collaborating with other departments to support your communities.
  • Handling risk management, insurance, and litigation support.
  • Preparing budgets and managing association finances.
  • Being available for after-hours emergencies.
  • Completing additional tasks as required.
QUALITIES OF AN EXCEPTIONAL COMMUNITY MANAGER:

We understand that you seek a fulfilling career where you can excel. Your goals should align with our company culture. Ideal candidates will possess a customer-focused attitude, take ownership of their responsibilities, be team-oriented, coachable, highly organized, accountable, and adept at multitasking.

If you are a positive and engaged professional who values exceptional customer service and wishes to work for an innovative company, and if you enjoy learning, problem-solving, and being a disciplined, organized, and accountable team member, this could be the right opportunity for you.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

While we will provide training on managing successful community associations, we hope you already possess the following skills:
  • At least ten (10+) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Willingness to attend or lead evening meetings (approximately 30-40 annually).
  • High-level organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to adapt to various business software systems.
  • Strong, customer-friendly communication skills.
  • Familiarity with financial statements and budgeting.
  • Comfort with public speaking in both small and large settings.
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills in challenging situations.
  • Experience in gathering bids for significant projects and managing those initiatives.
TRAINING PROGRAM:

Qualified candidates who align with our culture and possess the right skills will participate in an engaging training program that includes:
  • Assignment of a Community Manager Mentor for on-the-job guidance.
  • Collaboration with a group of 4 to 6 community managers at varying experience levels.
  • Participation in a unique in-house, web-based learning academy.
  • Updates on changes in laws and seasonal topics throughout the year.
