Client Pricing Strategy and Planning Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Pricing Strategy and Planning Manager to join our team at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. As a key member of our pricing strategy team, you will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies that drive growth and profitability for our Client business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer needs to inform pricing decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and operations, to ensure effective pricing strategy execution
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform pricing decisions and drive business growth
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and pricing best practices to ensure our pricing strategies remain competitive and effective
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in pricing strategy and planning, preferably in the high-tech industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market trends and competitor pricing
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated achievement in a pricing strategy or business planning role, preferably in the high-tech industry
  • Pre-existing understanding of the PC market, with an emphasis on OEM/MNC PC makers
  • Exceptional time-management skills and ability to handle multiple ongoing projects/initiatives
  • Ability to quickly create effective strategies with imperfect or insufficient datasets
  • Strong organizational skills and experience working across a large organization to drive results
