Position Overview:

The Senior Director of Laboratory Services Development will play a pivotal role in the life sciences sector, collaborating closely with managing directors and account leaders to drive successful and accelerated growth. This strategic position is centered on business development aligned with organic growth through effective management of product delivery and renewal initiatives. Additionally, this role encompasses essential tactical responsibilities as a collaborative team member and proactive executive.

This leader will cultivate strong partnerships with the Client Growth Sales team and the WD Products and Solutions Development groups to ensure that only the most suitable and robust products and technologies are proposed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Trusted Advisor to Life Science Account Directors, overseeing growth from inception to execution.
  • Exhibit innovative thinking, adept problem-solving skills, and proactive management to deliver creative solutions to clients.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Account Directors and key stakeholders to ensure progress on pursuits and successful deal closures.
  • Drive annual growth in LS Revenue and CI.
  • Manage competitive RFP processes and oversee change control for account scope modifications.
  • Develop and implement an Account Renewal Roadmap in collaboration with marketing and accounts, leading cross-functional teams to execute renewal strategies.
  • Identify and promote innovations and best practices applicable across various accounts and clients.
  • Track and share success stories to enhance awareness and engagement.
  • Identify critical priorities for each account project and align organizational stakeholders accordingly.
  • Escalate risks throughout the organization as necessary.
  • Provide regular updates on the opportunity pipeline to Account Directors.
  • Establish and maintain growth management processes.
  • Keep informed about Work Dynamics and JLL Technology (JLLT) product and service offerings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and client needs, contributing insights on pricing and future solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial/sales roles.
  • 10+ years of experience in the life sciences sector.
  • 5+ years of experience in solutions development.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for this position ranges from $175,000.00 to $200,000.00 annually, inclusive of bonuses where applicable. This range is an estimate and not guaranteed, as offers are based on the candidate's qualifications and market data.
