Job Summary

The Floor Supervisor will play a critical role in managing store operations and ensuring seamless customer experiences. This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily store activities, supervising staff, and implementing company programs to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Proactively assist customers in finding products and solving problems.
    • Ensure all customer interactions are positive and memorable.
  • Store Operations:
    • Supervise and coordinate daily store activities, including opening and closing procedures.
    • Assist with inventory management, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
    • Ensure a safe and clean store environment, including the sales floor, stock room, and outdoor merchandise areas.
    • Implement company programs and initiatives to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory and Merchandising:
    • Assist with receiving, checking in, and stocking merchandise.
    • Help maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely cycle counts.
    • Assist with merchandise resets and visual merchandising to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Leadership:
    • Lead by example and demonstrate a positive, professional attitude.
    • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
    • Participate in store meetings and contribute to the development of store strategies and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous retail management experience preferred, with a focus on hardware or similar industries.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and climb stairs.
Compensation:

Starting salary: $14.00 per hour.
