As a proactive People Operations Specialist, you will collaborate with plant leadership to implement and tailor all cultural, organizational, and talent initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement and retention while aligning with the business's short and long-term goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze and comprehend the complete employee experience journey, identifying areas for enhancement and opportunities for increased engagement within the client group.
  • Partner closely with plant leaders and managers to address a variety of organizational, leadership, employee relations, development, and staffing challenges, overseeing daily HR operations.
  • Assist leaders and managers in navigating people planning and talent management practices, including recruitment, retention, workforce planning, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and compensation strategies.
  • Ensure the consistent application of human resources and employee relations policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to employees and leaders on performance, career development, diversity, equity, and inclusion challenges, as well as employee relations issues.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in human resources, including expertise in at least two HR functional areas (e.g., recruitment, employee relations, benefits).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 5 years of HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing context.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and business insight.
  • A comprehensive understanding of human resources philosophies, practices, and business requirements is essential for this role.
  • Extensive experience in executing strategies across talent management, organizational development, and HR business partnering.
  • A proven history of advising client groups and employees effectively.
  • Ability to guide leaders through various talent planning processes, including performance management, calibrations, compensation planning, executive coaching, employee relations, and organizational design.
  • Experience in contributing to policies, procedures, and programs that enhance engagement, equity, inclusion, and talent retention.
  • Experience managing a team of early-career professionals.
  • Exceptional consulting, listening, and communication skills (e.g., writing, oral, presentations, storytelling, and data visualization), with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • A creative thinker who views challenges as opportunities for innovation and thoughtful risk-taking.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a cooperative environment and approaches work with a holistic business mindset.
