OpenX, recognized as the largest people-based advertising exchange globally, is in search of a Senior Sales Executive specializing in Pharmaceutical clients and agencies to enhance our Buyer Development team. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of OpenX's business with brand advertisers and international ad agencies during a period of rapid expansion. As a vital member of the Buyer Development team, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the company's trajectory, solidify our status as the leading identity-focused Supply-Side Platform (SSP), and manage a portfolio of high-value client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Cultivating relationships and generating revenue with designated holding companies, brands, agencies, agency trading desks (ATDs), consultancies, and managed service providers. Collaborating closely with account teams at agencies representing the top global pharmaceutical brands to activate private marketplaces. Crafting deals that enable advertisers to connect with their target audiences and desired inventory through OpenX's premium publisher network. Identifying and engaging potential buyers, employing a discovery strategy and sales narrative aimed at increasing Programmatic Direct spending. Providing essential support for strategic deals by driving transactional business and ensuring consistent deal-based revenue. Overseeing a pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce and delivering regular updates to management on deal progression. Partnering with internal stakeholders to present clients with the comprehensive suite of OpenX's programmatic and identity-based solutions.

Qualifications:

5-7 years of overall experience in advertising technology or digital marketing. 3-5 years in an Account Executive or comparable role within advertising technology or digital marketing. Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is crucial for success in this position. Profound understanding of advertising technology, SSPs, DSPs, the programmatic ecosystem, and/or media supply chain. Strong executive presence and comfort level when presenting to clients at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics. Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time. Capability to work independently in a hybrid environment, with the expectation to meet in a common location 3-4 times monthly. Experience collaborating with major advertising agency holding companies, particularly on Pharmaceutical accounts. Familiarity with programmatic buying at an agency, ATD, or brand level. Knowledgeable in programmatic audience strategies: CRM, CDP, DMP, first-party, second-party, and third-party data, look-alike modeling, etc. Consultative, partnership-oriented sales approach. Ability to excel in a dynamic, team-oriented environment while meeting tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving abilities and sound business judgment.
