The Senior Accounting Manager at Hireio, Inc. will play a pivotal role in the finance department, reporting directly to the Vice President. This position requires a collaborative approach to work effectively across various disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance Oversight: Review payment packages to ensure adherence to compliance and financial control standards.
- Monthly Close Leadership: Oversee the monthly closing process, which includes the recording and examination of journal entries and the preparation of account reconciliations.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and review the general ledger along with various sub-ledgers related to corporate and project entities.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements, while investigating any significant fluctuations.
- Audit Coordination: Manage audit requests by preparing necessary supporting reports and documentation.
- Tax Reporting Collaboration: Work with external consultants to coordinate tax reporting, including the preparation of supporting documentation.
- Budget Analysis: Review and summarize actual versus budgeted figures for company and real estate projects based on monthly financial reports.
- Regulatory Compliance: Examine financial data and documentation for regulatory purposes before submission to third parties or government entities.
- Accounting Standards Research: Investigate and resolve issues related to accounting standards.
- Ad-hoc Reporting: Prepare various financial reports as required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in real estate accounting and/or with a CPA firm is preferred.
- CPA certification or candidacy is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin are preferred.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
