Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical advancements to enhance AMD's validation capabilities, including the development of tools and scripts, refinement of technical methodologies, and various internal and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues encountered during pre-silicon, silicon bring-up, validation, and production stages of SoC programs.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams on hardware and firmware to tackle complex challenges.
  • Engage closely with internal UEFI and Firmware teams as well as silicon IP stakeholders for product and feature specifications.
  • Evaluate and propose solutions to security vulnerabilities at both hardware and firmware levels.
  • Design and troubleshoot firmware interfaces to security microcontrollers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient programming and scripting abilities (e.g., C/C++, Python).
  • Strong debugging skills, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Experience with low-level hardware.
  • Understanding of system architecture and x86 architecture.
  • Familiarity with industry security concepts and protocols.
  • Knowledge of hardware interfaces (e.g., SATA, USB, DDR, PCIe, SPI, I2C, UART).
  • Expertise in Git source version control.

Academic Credentials:

  • Master's or PhD degree in electrical or computer engineering is preferred.
