Role Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven systems engineer to become a vital member of our expanding team. As a key player, you will leverage your strong technical expertise to engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

In this capacity, you will take full ownership of requirements delivery and lead projects to successful completion.

Candidate Profile:

Key Duties:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise applications at an expert level while ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Facilitate various Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, reviews, estimations, sprint planning, demonstrations, and burndown tracking.
  • Act as a liaison between AMD and external partners to ensure service level agreements are upheld.
  • Collaborate independently and jointly with cross-functional teams for development, testing, debugging, and implementing enterprise application requirements.
  • Exhibit excellent teamwork skills while being capable of independent work.
  • Communicate effectively and engage with diverse partners.
  • Proactively foster a team culture that encourages knowledge sharing, excellence, and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with C/C++ programming.
  • Experience in facilitating Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, and Shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (GIT, SVN, CVS).
  • Experience in developing and supporting cloud environments, including IaaS and PaaS.
  • Knowledge of database development, particularly with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MS SQL Server.
  • A balanced skill set in hardware, architecture, and software.
  • A collaborative team member with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred.
