THE ROLE:

This position transcends traditional sales; it involves spearheading our sales initiatives and fostering the growth of the Lakeshirts brand through collaboration and mentorship of our representative team.

The ideal candidate will possess significant expertise in the headwear market and a strategic approach to uncovering market opportunities and crafting effective sales tactics.

A genuine enthusiasm for selling our distinctive and stylish hats, along with the ability to build strong relationships and drive positive change, is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role encompasses a dual focus:

  • As a licensed headwear authority, you will engage with customers and representatives, aiming to boost sales while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Simultaneously, you will take on a leadership role, guiding and developing our Sales Representatives in all aspects of Lakeshirts headwear.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Identify and pursue accounts with potential for headwear growth, coordinating appointments and presentations.
  • Mentor and train representatives on effective sales techniques to maximize headwear sales.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company targets and enhance market presence.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Line Development teams to execute growth strategies.
  • Provide insights into product development and market strategies.
  • Foster relationships with representatives, key buyers, and licensing partners.
  • Monitor sales territories and progress, motivating representatives to achieve their goals.
  • Engage in networking opportunities, including trade shows and industry events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A profound passion for headwear, with expertise in customization and sales.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the headwear industry and successful sales experience.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable sales strategies.
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in technology tools for organization and efficiency.
  • A friendly, energetic, and optimistic demeanor.
  • The ability to travel as required.
