This is a full-time position during the third shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate within the Hematology division, focusing on hemostasis, urinalysis, and immunohematology.
  • Conduct essential patient care processes through moderate and high complexity testing.
  • Analyze, interpret, and report laboratory results accurately.
  • Identify the need for corrective actions and implement effective solutions.
  • Work in a dynamic laboratory setting with biological and chemical safety considerations.
  • Promote safety, compliance, and quality assurance in all laboratory operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or an Associate's degree in a related field.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing.
  • Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or an equivalent body.
  • Strong skills in reading, writing, and analysis.
  • Proficient in operating standard laboratory equipment, including computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, and microscopes.

Preferred Experience:

  • 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing within your specialty area.
