Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to contribute to our mission of enhancing community health through superior patient care, education, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct tests and analyses on laboratory specimens.
- Assess the accuracy of test results and report findings to assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients.
- Execute complex analytical procedures that require meticulous attention to detail and the use of sophisticated laboratory equipment.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent with military training as a medical laboratory specialist.
Licensure and Certification
While certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) is preferred, it is not mandatory.
