About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our sales efforts and drive revenue growth for our Hilton Garden Inn Sunnyvale and Homewood Suites San Jose North properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow existing accounts and generate new business opportunities.
  • Direct the implementation and execution of sales policies and practices to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure coordinated communications and support sales plan objectives.
  • Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
  • Build, develop, and manage a high-performing sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably in the hotel industry.
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills, with the ability to direct the efforts of others to achieve budgeted expectations.
  • Excellent business acumen, with a passion for numbers and meeting sales goals.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license and a high school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred.

Physical and Travel Requirements:

The successful candidate must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time, and occasional travel outside the local area may be required.
