Position Summary

We are on the lookout for a driven and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Analyst - Revenue/Billings/SaaS. This pivotal role involves engaging with leadership and contributing to the analysis and forecasting of revenue, billings, and customer retention metrics.

Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Analyst, your daily tasks will include:
  1. Collecting, consolidating, and evaluating essential operational, financial, and sales performance data, focusing on revenue trends and customer retention.
  2. Conducting data analytics on critical SaaS metrics to identify new leading indicators and provide insights to executive management.
  3. Forecasting both short-term and long-term revenue and billing projections, applying a solid understanding of accounting principles.
  4. Contributing to the annual and quarterly planning processes, including long-range strategic planning related to revenue and billings.
  5. Developing and maintaining intricate business and forecasting models to drive insights and support informed decision-making.
  6. Creating dashboards to streamline processes and deliver new insights to management.
  7. Performing ad hoc financial analyses and preparing reports for executive and Board meetings.
  8. Enhancing and developing business processes to support a rapidly expanding organization.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  1. 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar analytical role within a high-growth technology company, preferably in the SaaS sector.
  2. A BA/BS degree with a strong academic background in Economics, Business, or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
  3. Familiarity with revenue accounting standards, including ASC 606.
  4. Proven ability to manage large datasets, derive insights from complex data, and make informed recommendations.
  5. Exceptional attention to detail and sound business judgment.
  6. Advanced statistical, analytical, and data modeling skills, including proficiency in Excel.
  7. Experience with tools such as Adaptive Planning, RevPro, PowerBI, and Microsoft 365 is a plus.
  8. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
