Position Overview

The Access Control Solutions Architect is tasked with the design, execution, and upkeep of the organization's Identity and Access Management (IAM) framework. This role demands a robust technical foundation in directory services and a comprehensive grasp of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with various business units and IT departments to establish and oversee enterprise identity management and access control processes.
  • Document and maintain technical and administrative policies and standards for effective implementation.
  • Participate in a collaborative security and technology team dedicated to managing identities and entitlements within IAM solutions.
  • Integrate applications with Entra and Active Directory (AD), implementing security groups and ensuring their application to integrated systems.
  • Select and deploy IGA infrastructure, facilitating the integration of applications and automating workflows for new hires, transfers, and departures.
  • Support IAM governance, policies, and solutions encompassing single sign-on, directory services, certificate management, multi-factor authentication, privileged accounts, automation, and behavioral analytics.
  • Identify and resolve technical IAM challenges affecting the workforce.
  • Secure access to both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure and applications, essential for a distributed remote workforce.
  • Work closely with incident response teams during potential security incidents, escalating issues to management as necessary.
  • Gather key performance indicators and operational metrics, tracking service level agreements to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Execute tactical requests while supporting the strategic vision for robust and scalable IAM controls.
  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and applicable banking laws and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information assurance, computer science, engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Proven experience and understanding of IGA in a cloud-first environment.
  • A minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity or information technology roles.
  • At least 2 years of experience in security systems engineering with IAM solutions, with additional experience in endpoint, network, or application security preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years working with security operations centers and incident response teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, GISF, GCIA, or GISP are advantageous but not mandatory.
