We are currently looking for a Solutions Architect with a solid grasp of technology and practical experience in critical IT areas, particularly in Observability, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Search. A robust technical foundation, especially in cloud-based software solutions, is essential for this role, which focuses on our Public Sector clientele in the western United States.

This pivotal role involves not only promoting the utilization of our Elastic solutions by aligning them with the business goals of our clients but also facilitating customer onboarding, ensuring adoption, and driving expansion.

As a Solutions Architect, you will serve as a Trusted Technical Advisor, collaborating closely with customers and allied teams such as Field and Services Teams to guarantee that Elastic solutions meet and exceed customer expectations. Your technical acumen, business insight, and ability to deliver value will enhance the customer experience, leading to sustained satisfaction and growth within the Elastic portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in close partnership with the account team, including the Account Executive and Solutions Architect, to provide ongoing technical support while the team focuses on identifying new business opportunities.
  • Oversee the technical journey of customers (onboarding, escalation, solution guidance) to drive product adoption through success plans that enable customers to achieve their objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion, at which point the account team will take over to enhance subscription levels, aiming to increase annual recurring revenue (ARR).
  • Regularly evaluate and analyze customer usage of Elastic solutions, proactively recommending upgrades and enhancements that boost value and drive further engagement.
  • Develop and disseminate resources and tools that facilitate accelerated product adoption.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be located in regions that allow for regular customer interactions.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar capacity such as Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, or Pre-sales Engineer, with hands-on experience with Elastic solutions or comparable technologies.
  • Familiarity with one or more Elastic solutions (Observability, Security, Enterprise Search) or the Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and their alignment with business objectives is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, capable of building relationships with clients and team members.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities, with a history of delivering innovative solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with state and local government agencies is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary plus a variable component, together forming the On-Target Earnings (OTE). The typical starting OTE range for new hires in this role is reflective of our commitment to fair compensation based on various factors including education, qualifications, experience, skills, and geographic location.
