POSITION OVERVIEW
Inspire Medical is looking to expand its team with a skilled Cybersecurity Solutions Architect.

This role will collaborate with the Information Technology teams, focusing on security architecture and governance. The successful candidate will design, implement, test, and oversee security solutions across the organization, ensuring alignment with the latest security standards and safeguarding systems against potential threats or breaches.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, research, and develop security architecture for IT systems, applications, and integrations.
  • Design security services within cloud-based environments according to established architectural frameworks.
  • Enhance the security posture of Azure platform systems and services.
  • Establish security protocols by assessing business strategies, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Define security controls, policies, and appropriate role-based access to data, applications, and systems.
  • Lead and coordinate activities within the scope of IT Security and Security Architecture best practices.
  • Monitor alerts to ensure protection of data, applications, containers, infrastructure, and networks.
  • Design access configurations within cloud environments utilizing security best practices and defense-in-depth principles.
  • Review system security measures and implement necessary enhancements to meet security requirements and policies.
  • Participate in project work, performing security-specific architecture tasks related to cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with network and cloud architecture teams to review and approve design and installation requirements.
  • Verify security systems by developing and executing test scripts to validate requirements.
  • Utilize cloud-native tools such as Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Azure Sentinel.
  • Respond to and investigate escalated security incidents, providing mitigations and thorough post-event analyses.
  • Conduct regular testing and remediation of web applications, networks, and systems security.
  • Stay updated on emerging security practices and standards through continuous education and professional development.
  • Work closely with departmental leaders to ensure compliance with IT and security standards.
  • Ensure enterprise alignment with regulatory requirements and cybersecurity frameworks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in IT Security with a focus on security architecture in Azure environments.
  • Proficient in all aspects of cloud security, including identity and access management, data protection technologies, and incident response processes.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts such as Zero Trust Network, CASB, Cloud Computing, SIEM, SOAR, PKI, DevSecOps, IAM, and PAM.
  • Technical proficiency in Windows operating systems and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and .Net.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and Terraform in Azure or other cloud environments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices or healthcare/HIPAA.
  • Prior involvement in audits and assessments.
  • Active pursuit of industry-related certifications.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud.
