Job Overview

The responsibilities of the Lobby Services Attendant encompass the upkeep and cleanliness of the hotel's public spaces. Duties may include, but are not limited to: thorough cleaning of designated areas, organizing and maintaining complimentary lobby services such as coffee stations and evening concierge activities, responding to guest requests for service items in their rooms, and operating the shuttle van as required.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related sector.

A valid driver's license for the relevant state and a satisfactory driving record are necessary.

Effective communication skills are essential for conveying information clearly.

The ability to assess and choose among various options swiftly and accurately is required.

Must perform well in high-pressure environments while maintaining composure and professionalism.

Core Duties

Engage with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

Adhere to attendance standards as per Dinjob's policies, which may vary based on hotel needs.

Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the designated uniform and name tag while on duty.

Comply consistently with Dinjob's standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.

Daily cleaning and buffing of floors in accordance with hotel standards.

Shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as necessary.

Maintain cleanliness in public restrooms, ensuring regular maintenance throughout shifts.

Assist guests with luggage during check-in and check-out in a courteous and efficient manner.

Practice safe working habits to ensure the safety of guests, fellow associates, and oneself.

Manage lost and found items according to Dinjob's protocols.

At the end of each shift, return all keys and assignment sheets to the appropriate department.

Complete the daily assignment checklist and submit it to the supervisor at the end of the day.

Familiarize oneself with Dinjob's policies and house rules.

Ensure that all associates are consistently attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests and fellow team members.

Properly store all equipment after use in accordance with Dinjob's standards.

Be knowledgeable about and assist in all emergency procedures during shifts.

Regularly clean and dust floors as per Dinjob's standards.

Ensure hotel equipment is maintained in good working order.

Store hotel equipment appropriately.

Clean guest rooms as required.

Complete special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Attend meetings as required by management.

Perform any other duties as requested by management.
