About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Embassy Suites Lubbock. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently, providing exceptional service to our guests.
  • Buffet Setup and Maintenance: Set up the buffet daily, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well-stocked, and break down the buffet after service.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Refill coffee and beverages as needed or when asked, and remove dirty dishes and utensils.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Sanitize and ensure cleanliness of all buffet bar areas, including tables and chairs, and empty trash as needed.
  • Setup and Preparation: Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the service hours.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Wipe down service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment according to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality.
  • Time Management and Organization: Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Clear communication and interpersonal skills with diners and coworkers.
  • Educational Requirements: Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification.
  • Food Service Industry Experience: Food service industry experience is highly desired.
