The responsibilities of the Lobby Services Attendant encompass the upkeep and cleanliness of the hotel's public spaces. Duties may include, but are not limited to: thorough cleaning of designated areas, organizing and maintaining complimentary lobby services such as coffee stations and evening concierge events, fulfilling service requests from guests, and operating the shuttle van as necessary.

Key Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.

A valid driver's license for the applicable state and a satisfactory driving record are required.

Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively.

Capable of assessing and selecting among various options quickly and accurately.

Ability to perform well in high-pressure situations while maintaining composure.

Essential Responsibilities

Engage with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

Adhere to attendance standards in accordance with company policies, which may vary based on hotel needs.

Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag as per brand guidelines.

Comply with all company standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.

Perform daily cleaning and buffing of floors according to established standards.

Shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as needed.

Ensure public restrooms are cleaned and maintained regularly throughout the shift.

Assist guests with luggage in a courteous and efficient manner during check-in and check-out.

Practice safe work habits to ensure the safety of guests, fellow associates, and oneself.

Handle lost and found items in accordance with company policies.

At the end of each shift, return all keys and assignment sheets to the appropriate department.

Complete daily task checklists and submit them to the supervisor at the end of the day.

Familiarize oneself with company policies and house rules.

Ensure that all associates are attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests and fellow team members.

Properly store all equipment after use according to company standards.

Be knowledgeable of and assist in all emergency procedures during shifts.

Maintain hotel equipment in good working order and ensure proper storage.

Clean guest rooms as needed.

Complete special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Attend meetings as required by management.

Perform any other duties as requested by management.
