The responsibilities of the Lobby Service Attendant include ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel's public spaces. Duties may encompass: thorough cleaning of designated areas, organizing and maintaining complimentary lobby services such as coffee stations and evening concierge events, responding to guest requests for service items in their rooms, and operating the shuttle van as required.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field.

A valid driver's license for the applicable state and a satisfactory driving record are necessary.

Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively is essential.

Quick and accurate decision-making skills are required.

Ability to perform well in high-pressure situations is important.

Maintaining composure and professionalism under stress is crucial.

Core Duties

Engage with guests and colleagues in a welcoming, service-oriented manner.

Adhere to attendance standards in accordance with company policies, which may vary based on hotel needs.

Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag.

Comply with company standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.

Perform daily floor cleaning and buffing as per hotel standards.

Shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as needed.

Maintain cleanliness in public restrooms and ensure regular maintenance throughout shifts.

Assist guests with luggage in a friendly and efficient manner during check-in and check-out.

Practice safe work habits to ensure the safety of guests and colleagues.

Manage lost and found items according to company policies.

At the end of each shift, return all keys and assignment sheets to the appropriate department.

Complete daily task checklists and submit them to the supervisor.

Familiarize yourself with company policies and house rules.

Ensure that all associates are attentive, friendly, and courteous to guests and fellow team members.

Properly store all equipment after use in accordance with company standards.

Be knowledgeable about and assist in emergency procedures during shifts.

Dust and clean floors daily as per company standards.

Ensure hotel equipment is maintained in good working order.

Organize storage of hotel equipment appropriately.

Clean guest rooms as required.

Complete special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Attend required meetings as directed by management.

Perform any additional duties as requested by management.
