- COMPENSATION: Approximately $17-$19 per hour (based on experience)

Monday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Thursday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

This role is ideal for individuals who possess strong organizational skills, excel at multitasking, and have a genuine passion for supporting others.

The Front Desk Medical Receptionist will be responsible for:

  • Warmly welcoming and assisting patients upon arrival.
  • Managing patient check-in and check-out processes in accordance with established protocols, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Responding to phone inquiries and directing patients to the appropriate personnel or departments.
  • Accurately registering patients and creating their profiles within an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Efficiently scheduling appointments for both new and returning patients.
  • Performing routine administrative tasks such as preparing patient files, verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, and processing payments.
  • Completing opening and closing procedures and other assigned tasks.
  • Exemplifying outstanding customer service while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic office support skills, including telephone etiquette, filing, and data entry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
