POSITION SUMMARY

Manage all guest arrivals by confirming bookings in the system, verifying guest identity, processing payment methods, assigning accommodations, and issuing room keys in accordance with property guidelines. Operate the telephone switchboard and respond to guest inquiries, including wake-up call requests. Generate daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify special requests, and ensure report accuracy. Review shift logs and document essential information in logbooks. Process various payment types including room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Secure and count the cash bank. Complete end-of-day tasks including posting charges to accounts, preparing cashier and closing reports, running night audit backups, and rolling the date. Print and prepare folios to be delivered to guest rooms prior to check-out.

Adhere to all company safety and security protocols, reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management. Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are professional, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Welcome and acknowledge all guests in line with company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation to guests. Communicate clearly and professionally with others, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette. Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and respond appropriately to their concerns. Read and verify information in various formats (e.g., small print). Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: No prior work experience required.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.

License or Certification: None
