Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests upon arrival, manage the check-in process efficiently, and provide comprehensive information about the resort's offerings and services. During check-out, ensure accurate billing and extend warm farewells to departing guests.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously. Utilize your expertise to provide valuable insights about resort amenities, local attractions, and transportation options to enhance the guest experience.
  • Assist guests with reservations, ensuring accurate availability, rates, and preferences. Collaborate with the reservations team to optimize occupancy and revenue.
  • Address guest complaints and concerns professionally and empathetically. Strive for prompt resolutions and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Provide concierge services, including dining reservations, transportation arrangements, and local activity planning tailored to guest preferences.
  • Manage incoming communications via phone, chat, and email, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments or providing accurate information as needed.
  • Engage in continuous training and professional development to enhance knowledge of resort services, local attractions, and customer service techniques.
  • Handle financial transactions securely and accurately, adhering to established resort procedures.
  • Follow resort security and emergency protocols to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Collaborate with security personnel at entry points to welcome guests and facilitate their arrival.
  • Assist guests with luggage upon request, ensuring a seamless experience.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Additional education in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • A strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor is necessary.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing reservations and guest information is crucial.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in resort management software and basic computer applications is required.
  • Prior experience in customer service, preferably within the hospitality sector, is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with reservation systems and front desk operations is beneficial.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules is expected.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Capability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically.
  • Ability to visually engage with a computer for extended periods.
  • Capacity to sit and use a computer for prolonged durations.
