Are you seeking a fulfilling career that prioritizes service to our nation's heroes? The Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) is currently looking for dedicated part-time and full-time Culinary Service Associates to deliver exceptional service to veterans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of beverages including coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, and smoothies.
  • Assist in the preparation of food items such as breakfast and lunch sandwiches, wraps, pancakes, and burritos.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.
  • Store food properly in designated containers to ensure freshness.
  • Prepare meals according to customer requests or supervisory guidelines, adhering to established procedures.
  • Work in varying temperatures, both hot and cold.

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, as well as perform basic math for food preparation.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in the food service sector.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and bend frequently.
  • Capability to lift or move items weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance.
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays is essential.
