About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Associate II to join our team at the University of Georgia. As an Administrative Associate II, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our department, ensuring the smooth execution of administrative tasks, and providing exceptional customer service to our students, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement administrative services, including processing hiring proposals, financial and accounting paperwork, and bookkeeping/budgeting.
  • Assist with maintaining current and accurate files on students and personnel, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to strict standards.
  • Provide administrative support to faculty and staff, including preparing requests for conference attendance, travel forms, and travel reimbursement forms.
  • Process all check requests, reimbursement paperwork, and purchase orders with attention to detail.
  • Assist with preparing and distributing mail, maintaining a clean and healthy work environment, and adhering to emergency protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree to which the employee can be relied upon to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work under changed or new situations or working conditions, exhibiting problem-solving and decision-making skills while working independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide and accept constructive feedback and utilize it to improve functioning.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality standards regarding staff and other UGA personnel.
