Candidate Profile:

We are in search of a proactive Regulatory Compliance Supervisor with a minimum of five years of experience to manage all facets of compliance and economic inclusivity initiatives. This role will report directly to the Senior Director of Contracts and Compliance and will be supported by a Compliance Specialist.

The Regulatory Compliance Supervisor will monitor and assist ongoing efforts to meet corporate diversity objectives set forth by the Project Control department.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and have the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy. A strong commitment to professionalism and the ability to represent the firm confidently are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

The Regulatory Compliance Supervisor will ensure adherence to labor compliance standards and will communicate any issues along with corrective action plans to the Project Management team. Responsibilities include verifying that projects utilize the correct wage determinations, ensuring subcontractors classify workers appropriately, and confirming that certified payroll submissions are accurate.

This role will also involve developing programs that align with local hiring mandates, including monitoring and reporting, assisting in the recruitment and placement of targeted employees, ensuring compliance with economic inclusivity standards, and addressing any issues with remediation plans.

The Regulatory Compliance Supervisor will identify project requirements for economic development compliance, communicate plans to the preconstruction team, prepare subcontracting plans, submit periodic reports, and close out projects with relevant authorities while identifying new potential partners for collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of comprehensive labor and/or economic inclusivity experience.
  • Experience with various reporting mechanisms.
  • Preferred background in the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented and diligent.
  • Proficient typing skills and expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Competence in essential job skills and knowledge.
