Marina Sirras & Associates LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced FERC Associate to join their Energy Regulatory practice in Washington DC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Energy Regulatory practice in Washington DC
  • Assist in energy transactions, enforcement, litigation, and compliance involving federal departments like the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the Department of Energy
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement energy regulatory strategies
  • Conduct research and analysis on federal energy regulatory laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in energy regulatory law
  • Knowledge of federal energy regulatory laws relating to the oil, natural gas, and electric power industries
  • Experience in energy transactions, enforcement, litigation, and compliance involving federal departments
  • Self-motivated, personable team player with outstanding academic and professional credentials
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice in Washington, D.C.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
