Role Overview

In this position, you will work under close supervision to perform a variety of office and clerical tasks that are essential to the operations of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a range of clerical and administrative duties, including managing incoming calls, assisting visitors, entering and retrieving information from database systems, maintaining organized filing systems, compiling data, and preparing reports.
  • Support various aspects of records management.
  • Receive, sort, file, and retrieve forms, mail, and other documents.
  • Carry out additional job-related tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
At least one (1) year of general office experience.

Additional Requirements:
Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license.

  • Clerical and office procedures specific to the department.
  • Data processing systems.
  • Business English, including spelling, grammar, and composition.
  • Office practices and procedures.
  • Research methods and report writing.
  • Current Microsoft Office applications.
  • Filing and recordkeeping systems.

  • Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports.

  • Act with professionalism and courtesy.
Work Environment:
The role is primarily office-based, featuring a well-lit and ventilated workspace.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, sufficient vision for reading documents and screens, and the capacity to lift up to 30 pounds.
