Program Management Lead

We are seeking a skilled Program Management Lead to spearhead significant enterprise projects that have a direct influence on our operational effectiveness and scalability.

This role requires a strategic mindset to oversee initiatives focused on the digital evolution across various departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Finance.

The ideal candidate will excel in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with Business Operations teams, CIO teams, and external partners to achieve desired business outcomes through technology-driven transformations.

We are looking for a proactive and seasoned professional in IT and Business Operations, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to shifting priorities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to pivot between diverse tasks, prioritize efficiently, and manage time effectively, all while communicating adeptly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This is a remarkable opportunity to contribute to the establishment of an Enterprise Program Management function with significant visibility among senior leadership. This role reports to the Director of IT Strategy and Operations, who is accountable to the CIO. This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring in-office presence for a minimum of three days each week.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee intricate projects and programs to fulfill business objectives. Formulate project justification proposals, business cases, and return on investment assessments; secure executive endorsement and funding.

Facilitate and enhance business operating processes to keep senior leadership informed of ongoing project developments, communicate risks, and drive necessary decisions.

Design and execute comprehensive release strategies that minimize service interruptions and ensure seamless transitions for IT applications. Coordinate release activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to synchronize release timelines, address dependencies, and mitigate potential risks. Document release methodologies, procedures, and metrics, maintaining a thorough knowledge repository for future reference.

Establish and uphold essential project governance documentation to ensure adequate structure is applied for project success.

Define and advocate for comprehensive change strategies and plans that align with the business objectives of strategic initiatives, minimizing disruption and enhancing adoption across both business and technical domains.

Provide timely updates and escalate critical risks to project management and senior executive teams. Drive the definition of future state business processes with key stakeholders and ensure alignment prior to implementation. Collaborate with external vendors and system implementers to ensure accountability for service delivery. Partner with IT leaders to define and manage business processes and technology roadmaps in support of long-term organizational strategy. Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

A minimum of six years of leadership experience in Program Management, with a proven track record of setting priorities and achieving results. Strong listening skills and the ability to engage effectively at the executive leadership level. Experience working with Scrum teams to deliver custom software solutions.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including iterative development, incremental delivery, and test-driven development.
