Role Summary:

The NPI Materials Program Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Engineering and Operations division at PsiQuantum. This position involves overseeing supplier selection and onboarding processes for various build phases, including pre-alpha, alpha, pre-beta, and beta stages. The manager will be responsible for monitoring and negotiating costs, managing shortages, and expediting deliveries while determining the feasibility of internal versus outsourced builds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate pricing, delivery, and contractual terms with essential technology suppliers.
  • Oversee and manage specific engineering builds, ensuring project timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and select suppliers for critical technology subsystems, conducting thorough screening and onboarding processes.
  • Facilitate the expedited delivery of components to meet project milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant business or technical discipline; advanced degrees such as MBE or ME are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain within a technology-driven organization, or 15 years overall in Supply Chain, with at least 5 years dedicated to New Product Introduction.
  • Proven ability to manage trade-offs in technical supplier selections.
  • Experience in successfully ramping up small or developing supply chains.
  • Strong background in contract negotiation and management.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving capabilities.

Compensation:

The expected base salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $200,000 USD, reflecting the minimum and maximum target range for new hires across all US locations. Base pay is just one component of the total compensation package, which also includes equity and benefits.
