Position Overview:

As an Infrastructure Program Manager at Protocol Labs, you will be instrumental in steering initiatives and addressing intricate challenges associated with the development, security, and management of expansive infrastructure tailored to the decentralized framework of Web 3.0.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

  • Lead the execution of projects focused on enhancing and constructing Protocol Labs' infrastructure.
  • Collaborate closely with the Infrastructure Engineering team and other Project Managers to ensure seamless coordination across the organization, effective stakeholder management, and accountability for outcomes.
  • Engage with various Web3 and Research projects alongside key stakeholders to define and implement multifaceted projects and features.
  • Facilitate decision-making on technical matters and ensure that the necessary resources are allocated to achieve high-quality results.
  • Identify, evaluate, monitor, and mitigate risks and issues at various levels.
  • Maintain and share project information with stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional project meetings, communication, and decision-making processes.
  • Conduct milestone reviews and present project updates to the executive team.
  • Ensure project documentation is current and manage the project document repository.
  • Drive quarterly goal setting, prioritization, and individual work coordination.

Qualifications:
You may be a suitable candidate if you possess:

  • Experience collaborating directly with infrastructure teams, preferably in organizations that develop large-scale distributed systems.
  • Comfort in engaging in technical discussions, possessing a solid understanding of technology to support decision-making.
  • Experience in gathering requirements, formulating specifications, and driving project execution.
  • Background in Product and Project Management.
  • Experience overseeing hardware/software product launches.
  • Ability to foster effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across diverse groups.
  • Experience leading third-party teams, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.

Bonus Qualifications:
Additional points if you have:

  • Experience working with infrastructure or engineering teams in a distributed setting.
  • Experience in Open Source projects.
  • Experience in volunteer-led organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project/task prioritization, planning, and scheduling.
  • Proven success in influencing and nurturing productive relationships with varied technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong technical acumen and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
