Position Summary

We are in search of a qualified candidate for the role of Global Markets Sales Specialist within our Global Markets Advisory division. This position is ideal for individuals with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience who are eager to enhance their expertise in institutional advisory sales at the intersection of financial markets and global political trends.

This role will primarily focus on expanding and maintaining Eurasia Group's institutional client relationships by delivering exceptional service and tailored solutions, while also supporting the leadership team in strategic business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Global Markets leadership team to enhance market presence and drive revenue growth for an established portfolio of institutional clients, primarily located on the East Coast.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Eurasia Group's offerings and become proficient in integrating political risk analysis into clients' investment and risk management processes.
  • Utilize Eurasia Group's extensive resources in country-specific research, market strategy, and geo-economics to create impactful engagements with investment professionals.
  • Stay informed about market trends across various regions, asset classes, and political risks to provide valuable insights to sophisticated institutional investors and foster strong client relationships.
  • Formulate detailed strategic account plans and assist senior leadership in business strategy and planning, including new business development initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with analysts, strategy teams, and all firm divisions as a key partner in delivering value.

Qualifications:

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in global financial markets, particularly in client-facing roles with a solid understanding of various asset classes and investment strategies.
  • Experience in institutional sales, advisory roles, or consulting, with a proven track record of successfully monetizing differentiated research and advisory services.
  • Background in emerging markets, foreign exchange, and fixed income, along with other relevant asset classes.
  • Experience in strategic planning, prospecting, and pitching preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest in political risk assessment and its implications for investment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong team-oriented approach, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's or MBA is preferred.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $93,000 to $119,000, with final compensation determined based on individual qualifications and experience.
