**Job Summary**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hard-working Institutional Equity Sales Associate to join our team at Piper Sandler & Co. in New York City.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide general support to a team of equity salespeople while learning the research product and developing client relationships.
  • Liaise with institutional clients, research, trading, and investment banking teams to provide exceptional client service.
  • Maintain a CRM database and research distribution lists to ensure accurate and timely communication with clients.
  • Respond to client requests for research, earnings models, corporate access, and conference meeting requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Host analyst, company management, and road show meetings to facilitate client relationships and business growth.
  • Work collaboratively with senior salespeople to achieve sales targets and contribute to the success of the team.

**Requirements:**

  • 1-4 years' work experience in a related field.
  • Basic financial knowledge and interest in financial markets.
  • Must have, or obtain upon employment, Series 7 and 63 licenses (Piper Sandler will supply test materials and necessary support).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
