Position Overview:
Leidos is on the lookout for a Junior Agile Project Facilitator to join a dynamic team dedicated to an innovative unmanned autonomous vessel initiative. This role involves becoming part of a team that has a proven track record of successful project delivery for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will prioritize team engagement and collaboration, ensuring that the team can set realistic goals and achieve them collectively. The new team member will work alongside experienced Agile Project Facilitators, fostering a cooperative environment to enhance team coaching and development.

As a Project Facilitator, your duties will include:
- Guiding the team in adhering to Agile methodologies.
- Serving as the primary liaison between the team and upper management, as well as with other Agile teams involved in the project.
- Continuously assisting the team in refining their project backlog.

This role is crucial for our team, as you will collaborate with engineers to enhance the intelligence of our unmanned vessels. Regular demonstrations of progress will be conducted for stakeholders, ensuring ongoing feedback and engagement.

Technical Skills:
While this position does not require software development, familiarity with technical concepts is beneficial for effective communication with stakeholders. The outcomes of this project will be showcased in real-world applications, and some travel within the continental US may be necessary for meetings and testing purposes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in an Agile Scrum setting, which may include internships or academic projects.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Demonstrated leadership skills through coaching or teaching experiences.
- Eligibility to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance; US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in relevant technical fields such as cybersecurity, object-oriented programming, or artificial intelligence.
- Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Master's Degree in Software Engineering or a related area.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is between $53,000 and $97,525. This range serves as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation. Factors influencing the offer include job responsibilities, educational background, experience, skills, and internal equity.
