Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead our Agile Scrum team in delivering a rapid software prototype for the Department of Defense. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Collaborate with the Technical Lead and Product Owner to develop the project and product roadmap
  • Lead and motivate the Agile Scrum team to achieve high levels of performance and quality
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, data owners, technical developers, and business analysts
  • Ensure that the project meets the client's requirements and expectations
Requirements
  • 8+ years of IT-related experience
  • Government IT contract project management experience
  • Strong client resolution skills
  • Very strong communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Must have strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills
  • Ability to think outside the box and on your feet
  • Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities and last-minute changes
  • Experience managing traditional waterfall-style projects using PMI methodology
  • Experience with Microsoft project or similar software
  • Experience in working with technical leads to translate business requirements into innovative solutions
  • Ability to give presentations and briefings to clients and stakeholder user groups at all levels of leadership
  • Must have strong knowledge and understanding of the business needs to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
  • Must have a deep understanding of relational databases, including making calls to them
  • Must possess a general understanding of report building logic
  • Google Suite experience
  • PMP Certification

  • Familiarization with Atlassian's Suite, such as Jira (or equivalent) for use in Agile issue management, backlogs, and team metrics/reporting
  • Experience delivering software for Federal agencies (specifically DoD) and the Security, Accessibility, and Technical policies that apply
  • Deep understanding of relational databases
  • Familiarity with business intelligence reporting applications, such as Qlik Sense, Oracle OBIEE
  • Familiarity with big data architectures, cloud computing, Databricks, Python, SQL, ADVANA
  • Understanding of how federal contracts work, such as the Federal Acquisition Regulations System
