Key Responsibilities:
Guidehouse presents an exciting opportunity within our Defense and Security Segment to support the Department of State. The Agile Project Facilitator will act as a central point for delivering Agile guidance and expertise to the government.
The individual will frequently engage with senior government officials and staff, participating in a variety of program-specific tasks associated with the Department's transformative systems. Flexibility in supporting various work products and deliverables is essential.
Primary Duties Include:
- Serving as Scrum Master across multiple teams
- Evaluating requirements, developer experiences, performance metrics, and infrastructure trends to assist the client in decision-making
- Facilitating scaled Agile development processes and maintaining clear, actionable Azure DevOps (ADO) workflows
- Collaborating closely with Technical Leads to define features and prioritize incoming tickets based on urgency and impact
- Working with the team to address blockers and dependencies
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET federal security clearance or higher
- Bachelor's Degree
- A minimum of FOUR (4) years of professional experience, including at least ONE (1) year as a Scrum Master
Preferred Qualifications:
- An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance
- Experience leading teams utilizing SAFe scaled agile methodologies
- Agile certifications (Certified Scrum Master, Agile Product Owner/Product Manager, etc.)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience implementing them in a Federal program
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to convey applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong time-management and prioritization abilities
- Flexibility, agility, and the capability to work in a collaborative team environment as well as independently
- Experience/knowledge working in Azure DevOps
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple work streams against tight deadlines
- Comfort in functioning as both a business partner and a subject matter expert; ability to understand and weigh long- and short-term budget considerations and communicate complex decision points to clients
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships and communicate across all levels of staff and leadership, along with various internal and external stakeholder groups
- Experience in developing project plans, status reports, and other content for executive leadership that promotes efficient decision-making
