Job Summary

Sodexo is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Mail Services Manager. This position requires a hands-on leader with experience managing mailroom and courier operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mail Service Operations Management: Direct daily mail service operations at our client site, ensuring employees have the necessary equipment and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning, and prioritizing tasks, while monitoring operating standards.
  • Quality Improvement: Establish operating standards, implement quality improvements, and communicate them to employees.
  • Mailroom Management: Supervise all mailroom activities, including shipping, receiving, sorting, and distribution of incoming mail, as well as collecting and processing outgoing mail.
  • Safety and Compliance: Establish a safe work environment for employees by providing safety-related training and equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with Sodexo safety programs.
  • Problem Resolution: Evaluate, resolve high-priority, and complex problems through communication with clients, vendors, and internal professionals in support of a proactive, responsive, and friendly customer environment.
  • Financial Management: Manage budget, resource allocation, and forecasting tools to ensure the best possible use of resources and report budgetary expenses effectively.
  • Performance Monitoring: Manage status reports, productivity reports, and other source documents to ensure optimal performance is met by staff.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience managing mail service operations.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for high-level customer service.

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, such as experience, skills, education, and training.
