Role Summary

The Mobility Solutions Consultant (MSC) is a client-focused role dedicated to enhancing cost efficiency, transparency, and ongoing oversight of clients' mobility services and accounts. Responsibilities encompass mobility plan oversight, invoice analysis, mobile traffic management, mobile device oversight, lifecycle management of devices, strategic opportunity identification, and comprehensive reporting and analytics. The MSC will regularly present clients with detailed Mobility Management Dashboards, typically through virtual meetings. This role is pivotal in recommending and implementing strategies for cost savings, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
  • Conduct detailed analysis of wireless invoices, inventory, and expenses tailored to each client's unique requirements.
  • Adopt a consultative and proactive stance in managing clients' mobility programs.
  • Serve as an integral part of the client's team through effective account management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all plans, features, pricing, and ongoing promotions from various wireless carriers.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups).
  • Handle substantial data volumes in Excel and databases.
  • Navigate wireless carrier platforms efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
  • General understanding of business finance, including cost allocation and accounting processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the use of complex functions and pivot tables.
  • Ability to review, comprehend, and manage carrier agreements.
  • Familiarity with Telecom Expense Management and/or Mobility Management.
  • Capability to engage clients in discussions regarding their mobility management strategies.
  • Strong presentation skills suitable for C-Level interactions.
Primary Duties:
  • Analyze invoices and provide a summary of recommendations to clients.
  • Oversee the client's mobility landscape, including vendors, hardware, and mobile security protocols.
  • Coordinate client call arrangements or internal meetings to explore client opportunities.
  • Manage the internal client online portal, including login credentials and contract documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Intelligence team responsible for the Mobility Management Dashboard Program.
  • Work in conjunction with related departments to ensure comprehensive client support and knowledge sharing.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to effectively escalate issues and manage vendor relationships.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and email) with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in diagnosing, articulating, and resolving client challenges.
  • Capable of quickly analyzing and interpreting large datasets.
  • Skilled in leveraging automation for improved efficiency and client benefit.
  • Confident in making recommendations and delivering results to clients.
Work Environment:

This role operates within a professional office setting, offering some flexibility for remote work.
