HR Business Partner for Tech and Product Leadership

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Tech and Product leadership teams at Spring Health.

This role will report directly to the Senior Director, People Business Partner, and support the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer in driving people strategies that align with business objectives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cultivating a high-performing culture within our R&D organization.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in People Business Partner roles supporting senior executives, with a proven track record of driving complex change management initiatives. A strong background in employee relations, coaching, compliance, communications, and change management is essential.

You will partner with senior leaders to understand business goals and develop proactive approaches to people management, influencing and guiding leaders on organizational and people challenges. You will also provide coaching to executives on performance management, leadership development, and succession planning.

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you must be highly productive and influential in fast-paced environments, with effective coaching and facilitation skills. Your ability to analyze data and drive recommendations to improve performance, retention, and the employee experience will be invaluable.

This is a full-time role with people management responsibilities, and occasional visits to our New York office may be required.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leaders to understand business goals and develop proactive approaches to people management
  • Influence and guide leaders on organizational and people challenges, offering solutions that align with company culture and long-term goals
  • Provide coaching to executives on performance management, leadership development, and succession planning
  • Lead initiatives for organizational effectiveness, talent planning, and workforce development to support scaling and expansion
  • Drive cultural transformation efforts, focusing on building a diverse, inclusive, and resilient workforce
  • Collaborate with Employee Experience to create programs that support professional growth, leadership, and functional capabilities
  • Address complex employee relations issues, balancing business needs with employee advocacy
  • Implement strategies to promote engagement, retention, and overall employee satisfaction
  • Lead and support initiatives around employee wellbeing, a Thriving culture, and DEI
  • Use People metrics, data, and insights to drive decisions and measure the effectiveness of People initiatives
Requirements
  • 10+ years experience in People Business Partner roles supporting senior executives
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Proven experience with complex, cross-functional change management
  • Located within commuting distance of NYC preferred
  • Experience supporting a CTO and CPO strongly preferred
  • Experience scaling Tech functions through hypergrowth strongly preferred
  • Strong competence within the HR function including employee relations, coaching, compliance, communications, and change management
  • Strong analytical capabilities and an ability to influence managers/leaders with data-driven recommendations to improve performance, retention, and the employee experience
  • Highly productive and influential in fast-paced environments
  • Effective coaching and facilitation skills, adept at influencing colleagues at any level

  • A competitive base salary range of $149,000 - $198,000
