Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic HR Partner to join our team at Flagstar Bank. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in developing and executing HR strategies that drive business results.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with senior leaders to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with our overall business objectives. This includes talent management, organizational effectiveness, human capital planning, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

You will work closely with leaders to assess, improve, and measure effective work morale, productivity, and retention. You will provide insight into practices, behaviors, skill requirements, organizational structure, and processes affecting the work environment and ability to achieve goals.

This information will be used, supported by data, to develop and execute HR strategies that focus on talent management, organizational effectiveness, human capital planning, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic partnerships with Business leaders and provide thought leadership regarding change management, organizational strategy, and execution aligned with business strategies.
  • Work closely with leaders to assess, improve, and ultimately measure effective work morale, productivity, and retention.
  • Provides insight to practices, behaviors, skill requirements, organizational structure, and processes effecting the work environment and ability to achieve goals.
  • Use this information, supported by data, to develop and execute HR strategies that focus on talent management, organizational effectiveness, human capital planning, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 12+ years of HR experience in a business-facing role in progressive HR, business partner, HR strategy, and/or HR transformation roles.
  • Experience partnering with and influencing senior leaders and delivering results without direct authority by leading with strong business acumen.
  • Talent management and organization development/design/efficiency experience.

A minimum of an undergraduate degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master's Degree is preferred, along with professional certification from SHRM or HRCI.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
