Position Summary:

The Corporate Sales Consultant is tasked with promoting and selling the company's products and services to both existing and prospective clients within our service areas. This role is pivotal in driving profitability and revenue growth in alignment with the company's vision and values through direct engagement with potential customers.

The Corporate Sales Consultant will cultivate long-lasting relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to clients, generating leads, crafting sales proposals, and delivering comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets using a consultative sales approach in a direct business-to-business environment.
  • Generate leads, prepare sales presentations and proposals, finalize contracts, and successfully close sales while setting appropriate expectations for service delivery.
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their requirements and present solutions that highlight key features, pricing options, and credit terms.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services while staying informed about competitors' offerings and initiatives.
  • Compile various reports detailing sales leads, prospects, and closed business transactions.
  • Analyze market trends and develop strategies to maximize sales and achieve objectives.
  • Focus on delivering effective solutions to all clients.
  • Contribute to market research and promotional activities to identify target customers and suitable media for outreach.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with top business executives and community leaders.
  • Represent Ritter Communications in community events and committees.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and foster a positive image of Ritter Communications.
  • Travel to client sites, project areas, and relevant business events as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of the telecommunications industry, including operations, technology, and equipment.
  • Understanding of business sales principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with telecom industry trends and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce/CRM, Adobe, and application-based programs.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers, colleagues, and business contacts.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Capability to work independently with attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed business decisions.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes; must possess a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience are preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in sales within the telecommunications or information technology sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
